Whilst the world’s attention is being swept up in the excitement of the current FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Newport Recycling focuses on a team a little closer to home and much closer to our hearts.

‘The Jaguars’, who are currently riding high with an undefeated season, popped by our offices this week to say a quick thank you, snap a few photographs and sign some autographs. Some of the girls from the team sat down with our very own Hattie James to discuss her career as a professional footballer. Hattie has previously coached for Wolverhampton Wanderers, as well as a number of teams across America. She rounded out her playing career for West Bromwich Albion as a striker, however, now takes a more relaxed approach to the beautiful game with the occasional call-up for her local side.
Wearing their red and white stripes, the Jaguars are currently vying to take home the league cup with their next game in the semi-finals. We wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.
