Newport Recycling is thrilled to announce that the Newport Jaguars, our sponsored Girls Under 8 football team, have won the Charity Cup final! It was an incredible morning for all the girls involved, and we couldn’t be more proud of their impressive victory.
The final was a tough match, with the opposition’s goalkeeper and defence putting up a formidable challenge. However, our girls were more than up to the task and held their own throughout the game. The Newport Jaguars’ defence was just as strong, with our goalkeeper not conceding a single goal during the entire match.
But it wasn’t just our defence that was on top form – our keeper even scored the first goal out of hands from her goal line! What a boot! The officials were so impressed with her performance that she was voted player of the match.
The second goal was equally impressive, coming from a well-executed corner kick. All the girls played their hearts out, and their hard work and determination paid off in the end.
